Maybank, the largest banking and financial group in Malaysia first established its presence in China in 1993 with the set-up of Beijing Representative Office. At present, Maybank has established branches in Shanghai, Beijing, Kunming and Shenzhen. Shanghai Branch is a full-service branch that commenced operations on 28 December 2000 while Beijing Branch, Kunming Branch and Shenzhen Branch started operations on 8 May 2012, 4 January 2015 and 18 Mar 2016 respectively.

All the branches are strategically located in China (covering Bohai Area, Yanngtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta & South-West Corridor). The China branches focus on serving both in-bound and out-bound cross-border trade and investment between Greater China, Malaysia, Singapore and ASEAN countries where Maybank has wide network coverage in all the ASEAN countries.

We provide a wide range of financial solutions which include loans, syndicated loans, trade, deposits, cash management and treasury to both foreign and locally incorporated enterprises operating in China. In addition, the branches offer banking solutions denominated in both Renminbi and foreign currencies.
